Con esta obra quiero hablar de la situación de España, pero especialmente la de Madrid, por eso que haya elegido este edificio, ya que lo encuentro bastante representativo. Se llama "Solo Fachada", ya que muchas veces solo nos cuentan o vemos la parte bonita de una historia, y la parte fea, pero real queda a un lado. Madrid es muy bonito y como ciudad es preciosa, pero en sus calles a parte de haber lujo y tiendas hay pobreza, y debajo de esos preciosos edificio duerme gente bajo cartones. Por ese motivo el cuadro está pintado sobre cartones.
La luz que tiene es como la que proyectan las farolas de la calle, una luz artificial, una luz que sirve para que la gente pueda ver. Esa gente es totalmente necesaria, ya que es lo que da vida a una ciudad. Sin gente la ciudad no existe
